Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a static acute toxicity test with Zebra fish (Brachydania rerio) over 96 hours no mortality was observed. The 96h LC50 was determined to be greater than 10000 mg/L.

Additional information

In a static study the acute toxicity of the test item with Zebra fish (Brachydania rerio HAM. and BUCH.) was determined. Zebra fish were exposed over a 96-hour period to a range of 4 concentrations: 50, 100, 5000 and 10000 mg/L and an untreated control. The study procedure was based on the OECD guideline 203. The results were calculated also related to the analytically determined values. Results (on the basis of the nominal concentrations): LC50 after 96 hours >10000 mg/L, NOEC: 10000 mg/L. The analytically detected concentrations were initially in the range of 97.5% - 103.3% and after 96 hours between 96.2% and 100.4% of the nominal concentrations.

In an additional acute toxicity test with insufficent documentation with Ide (Leuciscus idus melanotus) over 96 hours no mortality was oberved. The 96h LC50 was determined to be greater than 5000 ppm.
