PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The target substance achieved 10% and 6.2% biodegradation after 28 and 35 days, respectively, in an OECD 301D test (Klimisch 1) conducted in 2017.  It did not show any hydrolysis at pH 4, 7 or 9 at 50 C. It can be assessed as Persistent and potentially very Persistent (P and vP). Based on experimental log Kow values and estimated BCF values, the target substance or any of its constituents, is not expected to be bioaccumulative (not B or vB). Based on it being toxic for reproduction (Category 2), the target substance is considered toxic under Annex XIII criteria (T). In summary, the target substance is not assessed as PBT or vPvB.
