Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
<= 0.1 mg/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6
Remarks on result:
other: The results showed 0.1 mg/l Cd in the test water. It is likely that there are some fine particles in the liquid that contribute to the Cd signal, so it can be stated that the solubility of the substance is consiered to be insoluble.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): slightly soluble (0.1-100 mg/L)
Overall the solubility is likely to be an upper bound, since it is likely that some fine particles may have contributed to this measurement. In addition, the chemical properties of this substance are very similar to cadmium oxide which is considered insoluble (IUCLID dataset).
