Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
5 992 h
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In a GLP-compliant hydrolysis study according to EEC guideline C.10, hydrolysis of the testsubstance was tested at varying temperatures and as a function of pH (Ciba-Geigy Ltd., 1987).

In the preliminary test at 50 °C, the test substance was stable at pH 7 and 9, with calculated half-life periods at 25 °C of over one year. In the final test hydrolysis was determined at 60, 70 and 80 °C at pH 4. The Half- life period at pH 4 and 25 °C, as calculated with the Arrhanius equation, is 5992 hours. The test substance is considered to be hydrolitically stable.
