Description of key information

After emission or evaporation to air the substance is expected to be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes. In water, isobornyl methacrylate is readily biodegradable. In contrast, abiotic degradation by hydrolysis is not expected to play a major role – the substance is predicted to be stable at pH 7 and pH 8 (computer modelling).

Available data indicate that isobornyl methacrylate is not persistent in the environment.
