Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was to determine the vapor pressure of the test item. Several techniques are available to determine the vapor pressure of a test item experimentally. These techniques are described in 92/69/EEC guideline A.4, in the OECD guideline 104 and in the Council Regulation (EC) No. 761/2009, A.4. Based on a model calculation (QSAR) the gas saturation method was applied in this main study. The vapor pressure of the test item was measured at test temperatures of 70 °C, 80 °C and 90 °C and was determined to be 2.6 x 10-3 Pa at 70 °C, 8.7 x 10-3 Pa at 80 °C and 3.1 x 10-2 Pa at 90 °C. The vapor pressure of the test item at 25 °C was extrapolated from the vapor pressure curve and was calculated to be 2.2 x 10-6 Pa at 25 °C.
