Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results in detail

Melting temperature

No melting temperature was found between -50 °C and 400 °C.

The estimated accuracy is +- 1 °C

Observed thermal processes

With a heating rate of 20 K/min an endothermic peak was observed at about 49 °C peak temperature (Test 1). With a heating rate of 2 K/min the peak was shifted down to about 32 °C (Test2). In the 2nd heating the endothermic peak was not observed any longer. As the endothermic peak is no longer present in the 2nd heating and depends on the heating rate, this cannot be considered as the melting of the test item.

These observations are confirmed by the TG/DSC-Test (non-GLP).
