Description of key information
The test item is a complex mixture of amides and salts that is not classified as hazardous to human health or the environment and has been demonstrated to be poorly water soluble (5.20 x 10E-05 g/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C determined via OECD 105 and EU Method A.6). The amides contain no functional groups that would dissociate in water and, in accordance with ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance (Version 4.0; July 2015), it is not intended that dissolution of salts into individual ions is covered by this endpoint. Measurement of the dissociation constant therefore has no scientific validity.
