Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
Pyridiniumsulfonate does not have to be classified neither as highly flammable solid according to Directive 67/548/EEC nor as readily combustible solid according to UN Transport Regulation and nor as flammable solid according to GHS and EC1272/2008 (CLP Regulation, Annex 1: 2.7).
Executive summary:

The flammability of pyridiniumsulfonate was investigated in a study conducted according to EU Method A.10 (Flammability (Solids; 2008) and UN Transport Regulation Test N.1 (2009). In a preliminary test, the test substance did not ignite at room temperature using a flame as ignition source being applied for at least 2 minutes. Based on this observation, a main test does not need to be performed and pyridiniumsulfonate does not have to be classified neither as highly flammable solid according to Directive 67/548/EEC nor as readily combustible solid according to UN Transport Regulation and nor as flammable solid according to GHS and EC1272/2008 (CLP Regulation, Annex 1: 2.7).
