Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Method

Differential Scanning  Calorimetry (DSC) according to the OECD Test Guidelines 103.

Result

The test item melts in a range of 124 °C and 171 °C (onset at 144.2 °C, enthalpy = - 37.6 J/g), followed by two decomposition event, the first between 194-245 °C (onset at 217.3 °C, enthalpy = 256.2 J/g) and the second between 244-310 °C (onset = 247.4 °C, enthalpy = 62.1 J/g).

Conclusion

The substance decomposes before boiling at temperature above 194 °C.

Description of key information

The substance decomposes before boiling.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance was tested according to the method described into the OECD 103 Guideline. The substance decomposes at temperature above 194 °C before boiling.
