Additional information

The test substance is inherently biodegradable achiving full degradation at 60 days. Hydrolysis cannot be demonstrated due to lack of analytical methods.

The estimation study of the partition coefficient showed that the LogPow is 2.12 and therefore the substance is not considered to be bioaccumulative.

Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient on soil showed that the substance will not be retained in soil to a significant extent.

In accordance with column 2 of REACh (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) Annex IX, the simulation testing on ultimate degradation in surface water, soil simulation testing, and sediment simulation testing (required in section 9.2.1.2, 9.2.1.3, and 9.2.1.4) do not need to be conducted based on the findings of the Chemical Safety Assessment; the substance does not meet classification criteria according to the applicable regulations and does not meet the criteria for vPvB or PBT.
