Description of key information

The substance showed a considerable potential to cause skin sensitization in Human individuals as reported in several case reports.
However, no effects have been observed related to respiratory sensitization. This is in line with the low vapour pressure of the substance , and in line with other epoxide substances which are not respiratory sensitizers.
No other Human health effects have been reported in the open literature.

Additional information

The substance, like many other epoxides, is a skin sensitizer in Humans as reported via several case reports. No other health effects have been reported which is expected by considering the physico-chemical properties if the compound (viscous liquid with extremely low vapour pressure), and absence of consumer applications.
