Description of key information

Additional information

The substance is an organic white coloured powder at room temperature and has a high melting point of approximately 232°C. It decomposes above 325°C without boiling and is essentially non-volatile with a vapour pressure of 1.1 E-07 Pa at 25°C. It has no surfactant properties, showing no effect on the surface tension of water. A low water solubility of less than 0.01 mg/l and a high log Pow of greater than 6 shows the substance to be non polar. It has no hazardous physical properties, being non-explosive, non-oxidising and non-flammable. It has a relatively small particle size with 18 % less than 10µm.
