Description of key information

Adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The adsorption coefficient was determined in a GLP study performed according to the procedure specified in the OECD draft document of July, 1997 (since 2001: OECD guideline 121). The absorbtion coefficient was less than 17.8, which corresponds to a logKoc of less than 1.25. Adsorption to solid soil phase is therefore not expected (Safepharm Laboratories Limited (1999c).
