Description of key information

Following EU method A.1 resp. OECD 102 (1995), a melting range between 59.4 to 63.3°C (332.6 to 336.5 K) was determined using the capillary method. The values are means of two independent determinations.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test item Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc showed a melting range, no melting point. As the test item consists of a mixture, this is considered normal. No observations were made which might cause doubts on the validity of the study out-come. Therefore, the result of the study is considered valid.
