Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No well-defined melting point could be measured.
In the close crucible an endothermic effect at approx. 165 °C to 179 °C was observed which could be interpreted as a beginning melting process. The exothermic process observed above this temperature can be assumed as decomposition of the test item.
In the open crucible an endothermic effect at approx. 135 °C to 157 °C was observed which could be interpreted as a beginning melting process. Above this temperature, the test item appears to decompose.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
157 °C
