no guideline followed
Principles of method if other than guideline:
In this study, isopods of the species Saduria entomon were exposed to a single sulfide concentration in a hypoxic static water-sediment system. Prior to exposure, animals were either acclimated to hypoxia or normoxia. Sulfide concentrations were monitored in blood, muscle, and hepatopancreas.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
n this study, isopods of the species Saduria entomon were exposed to a single sulfide concentration in a hypoxic static water-sediment system. Prior to exposure, animals were either acclimated to hypoxia or normoxia. Sulfide concentrations were monitored in blood, muscle, and hepatopancreas. For the hypoxia acclimated organisms, BCF values of 0.31 to 3.39 L/kg ww were obtained, whereas for the normoxia acclimated organisms, BCF values of 0.38 to 1.05 L/kg ww were obtained.
