Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
56.67 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Two well-conducted EEC A4 vapour pressure determinations for DPGMEE gave different values at 25 Celsius; an experimental determination by isoteniscope gave a value of 56.67 Pa at 25 Celsius whereas experimental determination by a static method gave Vapour Pressure values of 52 Pa at 20 Celsius and 72 Pa at 25 Celsius. The first determination is taken as the key value as the static method utilizes other data in estimations, however, an extrapolation for toluene as a reference compound showed the method to be satisfactory .
