Additional information

In a 96-h acute toxicity study of the test item to zebra-fish (B. rerio) under static conditions the NOEC was estimated to be 26.5 mg/L and the LC50 was estimated to be > 26.5 mg/L (mean measured concentrations).

The 48-h NOEC of the test item to D. magna was estimated to be 2.4 mg/L, the 48-h EC50 of the test item to D. magna was estimated to be 4.4 mg/L (mean measuerd concentrations) with confidential limits ranging from 3.1 mg/L to 6.1 mg/L.

The test substance exhibits a very low water solubility (0.8 mg/L). Therefore, bioavailability to aquatic organisms is strongly limited. All effect concentrations are well above the water solubility. In conclusion, the substance shows no effect in the range of water solubility and no long-term toxicity test was performed with regard to animal welfare.

The IC50 of the test item to microorganisms was estimated to be > 320 mg/L, based on nominal concentrations.
