Description of key information

Based on a CORAP decision, bioaccumulation for the registered substance was determined via two diffent water solubility methods: a)  individual determination of water solubility accoding to OECD 105, b)  via determination of the water solubility accoding to OECD 115 - the CMC-method. The determination of  the octanol solubility was performed in anaolgy to OECD 105. From the quotient of octanol solubility and water solubility the KOW was determined. The determined values are: log KOW : 3.67 with CMC method OECD 115 log KOW: 2.89 with method OECD 105. Based on the CORAP decision, the log KOW deviated by the CMC water solubility determination was initiated as an confirmatory test to verify the log  KOW-value of the water solubility determination (OECD105).  In both case the log KOW reveals to be < 4. Therefore, the registered substance is considered to be not significantly bioaccumulative.
