Description of key information

For C.I. Pigment Green 50, adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected.

For Ni, Co and zn a significant sorption potential to suspended solids, sediment and soil is given.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Adsorption of C.I. Pigment Green 50 is not expected. The substance is chemically inert and based on its physical-chemical properties adsorption soil or suspended particles are not to be expected.

For Ni, the partition coefficients log Kpsusp 4.42, log Kpsed 3.92 and log Kpsoil 2.86 are proposed according to the EU risk assessment.

For Co and Zn the Solids-water partitioning coefficient of suspended matter (Kpsusp) is 9727 and 11 000.
