Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test solutions

Details on test solutions:
Identity and concentration of auxiliary solvent for dispersal: A solubility pre-test in test medium confirmed that the test
substance could not be dissolved completely at 100 mg/l.
Treatment with ultrasonic waves and magnetic stirring for a
total of 15 minutes resulted in a hazy dispersion with a
thin film on the surface. A subsequent 24-hour stirring
period did not improve the dissolution.

As in addition stability in test medium was unknown, maximum
solubility was achieved by a 10-minute stirring period of a
supersaturated 100 mg/l dispersion followed by ultrasonic
treatment (11-13 minutes) and subsequent filtration through
a 0.45 µm filter (Schleicher and Schuell, RC55). The lower
test concentrations for the range-finding test were prepared
by subsequent dilution of the filtrate in test medium. The
final test solutions were all clear and colourless.

Part of the test solutions was used for the simultaneously
performed acute Daphnia magna toxicity test.
