Acute Oral Toxicity: When tested according to OECD 423 (2001), the LD50 was greater than 2000 mg/kg

Acute Inhalation Toxicity: When tested according to OECD 403 (1996 Draft), the LC50 was greater than 20 mg/l.

Additional information

In the acute oral toxicity test, no mortality was seen at a dose of 2000 mg/kg. Body weight gain was normal and no abnormalities were seen on macroscopic examination.

In the acute inhalation study, animals were exposed to 20.6 mg/l for four hours. No mortality occurred and no clinical signs were noted. Macroscopic evaluation did not show any abnormalities and body weight gain was normal.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test results do not meet the criteria for classifying FC-770 as Harmful or Toxic by ingestion or inhalation.
