First-aid measures
First aid measures:
General advice: Immediate medical attention is required.
If inhaled: Move to fresh air. Call a physician or poison control centre immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
In case of skin contact: Call a physician immediately. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Apply PEG/EtOH solution liberally to affected area. Allow to remain 15 to 30 seconds, then wash with water. Continue cycle of water - PEG/EtOH solution for at least 15 minutes. (PEG/EtOH solution consists of 2 parts polyethylene glycol 400 to 1 part ethanol. For external use only). Finish decontamination with thorough washing using soap and water.
In case of eye contact: Call a physician immediately. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses. Keep eye wide open while rinsing.
If swallowed: Call a physician immediately. Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Ingest immediately about 350 ml (5 ml/kg body weight) of activated charcoal slurry. Note: To prepare activated charcoal slurry, mix thoroughly 50 g of activated charcoal in 400 ml (about 2 cups) water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/ physician.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: Asphyxia from glottal edema may occur. Marked decrease in blood pressure may occur with moist rales, frothy sputum, and high pulse pressure.

Hand protection: The choice of an appropriate glove does not only depend on its material but also on other quality features and is different from one producer to the other., Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time., Be aware that in daily use the durability of a chemical resistant protective glove can be notably shorter than the break through time measured according to EN 374, due to the numerous outside influences (e.g. temperature).
