First-aid measures

general advice: remove/take off immediately all contamined clothing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

if inhaled: remove to fresh air. Get medical advice/attention.

in case of skin contact: in case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap and plenty of water.

in case of eye contact: in the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

if swallowed: do not induce vomiting, seek medical advice and show safety datasheet or label

Fire-fighting measures

suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet; alcohol-resistant foam.

unsuitable estinguishing media: fry powder; carbon dioxide; high volume water jet

specific hazards during firefighting: Hazardous decomposition products formed under fire conditions.

special protective equipment for firefighters: self-contained breathing apparatus

further information: wear suitable protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Wear suitable protective equipment.

Ensure adequate ventilation

The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.

Pick up mechanically. Rinse away rest with water. Avoid dust formation. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge. Risk of dust explosion. Treat recovered material as described in the section ''Disposal considerations''.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:

Handle and open container with care.

Avoid dust formation.

Avoid dust accumulation in enclosed space.

Provide adequate ventilation.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion:

Keep away sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against build-up of electrostatic charges, e.g. earthing during loading and off-loading operations. Dust can form an explosive mixture in air.

Hygiene measures:

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday. Use protective skin cream before handling the product. Take off immediately all contamined clothing and wash it before reuse.

Further information on storage conditions:

Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Eye protection: Safety glasses

Hand protection:

Protective gloves complying with EN 374. Minimum thickness (glove): not determined with solid dry substnaces permeation is not to be expected, therefore the breakthrough-time for this protective glove has not been measured.

These types of protective gloves are offered by various manufacturers. please note the manufacturers detailed statements, especially about the minimum thickness and the minimum breakthrough time. Consider also the particular working conditions under which the gloves are being used.

Respiratory protection:

Use respiratory protection in case of insufficient exhaust ventilation or prolonged exposure. particle-filtering half-mask according to DIN EN 149; Filter class FFP2.

Protective measures:

Observe the usual precautions for handling chemicals. Do not breathe dust.

Stability and reactivity

Stable under normal conditions.

Hazardous reactions: Potential dust explosion hazard

Conditions to avoid: None known.

Materials to avoid: not known

When handled and stored appropriately, no dangerous decomposition products are known.

Disposal considerations

Product: Product should be taken to a suitable and authorized waste disposal site in accordance with relevant regulations and if necessary after consultation with the waste disposal operator and/or the competent Authorities.

Contamined packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste.
