Additional information

The oxidizing test of the test substance was measured according to Recommendations on the transport of dangerous goods Manual of Tests and Criteria -UN, ST /SG/AC. 10/11/Rev. 5.

The mean burning times of the mixture substance tested of and II were both longer than that of the mixture substance reference.

It was concluded that the test item was not oxidizing.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 section 2.14.2.1, an oxidising solid shall be classified for this class using test O.1 in Part III, subsection 34.4.1 of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria.

As the oxidizing test showed that the test item was not oxidizing in according to Recommendations on the transport of dangerous goods Manual of Tests and Criteria -UN, ST /SG/AC. 10/11/Rev. 5., therefore the substance should not be classified for oxidising solids.
