Aquatic studies evaluating the toxicity of the substance to aquatic organisms are available for two different trophic levels. All studies were performed according to international guidelines and GLP.
Daphnia magna turned out to be the more sensitive species for acute toxicity testing with an EL50 (48 h) of 30 mg/L (nominal). Testing with Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata resulted in an ErL50 (72 h) = 52 mg/L (nominal).
