Description of key information

Tetrakis(piperidino)phosphonium chloride is regarded as irritant to skin and the eye and therefore classified as H315 (category 3) and H319 (category 3).

This conclusion is based on effects observed in a test on acute dermal toxicity (see 7.2.2) and sustained by the pH value 11.3 found for the saturated aqueous solution (see 4.20) of the substance.
