First-aid measures

This product is flammable and before attempting any first aid procedure, ensure your own safety by removing ignition sources and ensuring adequate ventilation.

EYE CONTACT: Check and remove contact lenses. Do not use an eye oinment. Immediately flush the contaminated eye(s) with likewarm, gently flowing water for 5 to 10 minutes or ntil the chemical is removed, whole holding the eyelid(s) open. Obtain medical attention immediately.

SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash gently and thoroughly with water and no-abrasive soap for at least 20 minutes or until chemical is removed. If signs of sensitization or irritation occur, obtain medical advice. Completely decontaminate clothing, shoes and leather goods before re-use or discard.

INHALATION:Remove source of contamination or move victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, oxygen may be beneficial. If asministered by trained personnel, preferably on a doctor's advice. DO NOT allow the victim to move about unnecessarily.

INGESTION: Ingestion unlikely. Never given anything by mouth. If victim is rapidly losinf consciousness. have victim rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do not induce vomiting. Dilute contents of stomachwith 240 to 300 ml of water. If vomiting occurs naturally have victim lean forward to reduce risk of aspiration. Seek immediately medical service.

Fire-fighting measures

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Suitable extinguishing media: powder, CO2 , foam (light, medium, heavy).
Unsuitable extinguishing media: water

SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE: Hazardous products of combustions and radiant heat are formed in fire.

ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS: Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance or protected location. Approach the fire from upwind to avoid contact with hazardous vapours and decomposition products. Do not enter fire area without proper protection. Use of water, although generally ineffective, may by used by firefighters trained in fighting flammable liquid fires. Isolate material not yet involved in the fire and protect personnel. o´Move containers away from fire, if safe to do so. Equipment protecting against radiant heat and self-contained breathing apparatuses should be used.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES:
Avoid breathing vapours; prevent contact with skin and eyes. Use suitable protective clothing and gloves, and - if required - goggles and face shield and suitable respiratory protection. Provide fresh air supply in closed spaces.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Prevent further release or spilling, if may be done safely. Prevent from entering sewerage. Prevent from entering surrounding environment.

METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING-UP
Collect mechanically, absorb remains with a suitable sorbent, e.g. sawdust, and place in a container for further disposal.

Handling and storage

HANDLING PROCEDURES: This product is flammable. before handling, it is very important, that engineering controls are operating and protective equipment requirements and personal hygiene measures are followed. People wirking with this product should be trained regarding the hazards and safe handling.

Eliminate all ignition sources and keep away from heat. Ventilation systems should be non-sparkin and approved explosion proof. Do not use with incompatible materials such as strong oxidizing materials. Wear proper protective equipment when handling ths materials.

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight and away from oxidizers. Keep containers closed when not in use.

Exposure controls / personal protection

ENGINEERING CONTROLS: When usinf indoors, ensure adequate ventilaion by using local exhaust. Mechanical ventialtionis recommended for all indoor situations to control fugitive emissions. Electrical and mechanicla equipment should be explosion proof.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Vapours will be generated particulary if product is atomized or heated. If used or sprayed in an enclosed area, at a minimum use o NIOSH approved organic vapour respirator. When cartridge type respirators are used, ensure taht the cartridges are changed frequently according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Respirator selection must be dona by a qualified person and be based upon a risk assessment of the woek activities and exposure levels.

SKIN PROTECTION: Depending upon the conditions od use, protective floves and clothing to prevent skin contact.

EYE PROTECTION: Chemical splash googles and/or face shiled must be worn when a possibility exists for eye contact due to spshing or spraying liquid. Contact lenses should not be worn.

Stability and reactivity

CHEMICAL STABILITY: Stable as supplied.
POSSIBILITY OF HAZARDOUS REACTIONS: Keep away from strong oxidizers.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: None at professional se.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Acids, alcohols
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Nitric acid is formed uupon contact with a water or air moisture, toxic nitrogen oxides are formed in combustion.

Disposal considerations

SUITABLE DISPOSAL METHOD FOR SUBSTANCE OR PREPARATION AND CONTAIMINATED PACKAGING:
The product residues, contaminated materials, and empty non-returnable contaminated packaging must be disposed of by the waster producer in compliance with the Waste act.
Empty used packaging must be handed over to a packaging waste collection point. Packaging containing product residues must be placed to a municipality-determined site for hazardous waste collection or handed over to a person authorised to handle hazardous waste.
Waste number: 160508

PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROPERTIS WHICH COULD AFFECT THE WASTE TREATMENT METHOD: The product is classified as hazardous to health.

PREVENTION OF WASTE DISPOSAL THROUGH SEWERAGE: Do not mix with municipal waste. Do not discharge into sewerage or water courses.
