Description of key information

The density and relative density of Beta'' Alumina Powder was determined according to the OECD Guideline No. 109: "Density of Liquids and Solids" (October 2, 2012). The density was determined to be 3.51 g/cm³.

Additional information

The relative density of the test substance was determined using an air comparison pycnometer. It was tested in 3 test runs with 2 replicates each. Runs 2 and 3 were performed after storing the substance at 80°C as it was reported to be hygroscopic. Three mean values for relative density (3.53, 3.47 and 3.52) and the relative density (3.51) were reported.
