Additional information

Based on the available information derived from BRUGGOLITE FF6, BLANCOLEN HP can be considered as not irritating to skin, eyes and the respiratory track.

This information is derived from

-      an in-vivo-study with albino rats, that indicates that the test substance is devoid of any acute dermal irritation/corrosion.

-      an in vitro-study where no signs of eye irritation were detected. This test did not reveal any irritant properties; additionally no signs of systemic effects were observed.

The determination of the pH-value of BLANCOLEN HP in a range between 9 and 10 also doesn't contribute to an indication of irritating or corrosive properties.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Due to the evaluation of the test results, there are no reasons for a classification as irritating/corrosive.
