Administrative data

Endpoint:
oxidising properties
Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the organic substance contains oxygen or halogen atoms which are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
According to REACH REACH annex VII 7.1.3 column 2 the study does not need to be conducted when the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials based on the structure. The substance contains halogen atoms, but these are bond to carbon only and not to nitrogen or oxygen.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Based on the structure of the substance contining only haloggenm atoms bond to C atoms and not to oxygen or nitrogen it can be concluded that it has no oxidising properties.
Executive summary:

Based on the structure of the substance contining only haloggenm atoms bond to C atoms and not to oxygen or nitrogen it can be concluded that it has no oxidising properties.
