Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this study the surface tension of the test material 0.96 wt.-% solution was determined to be 72.6 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.
Executive summary:

The surface tension of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline ISO 9101:1987-12. In deviation of the ISO guidelines No. 9101:1987-12 the lighter phase was air instead of a second liquid.

The test was performed using the Lauda TVT 2 Drop Volume Tensiometer and the test was performed in triplicate.

Under the conditions of this study the surface tension of the test material 0.96 wt.-% solution was determined to be 72.6 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.

Description of key information

Additional information

The surface tension of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline ISO 9101:1987-12. In deviation of the ISO guidelines No. 9101:1987-12 the lighter phase was air instead of a second liquid. The study was awarded a reliability score of 2 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).
