Conclusions:
Butanedioic acid, 2-[(dipropoxyphosphinothioyl)thio]-, 1,4-dibutyl ester is not explosive. No explosophores were identified in the molecular structure of the test substance. The oxygen balance was determined to be -172. The exothermal decomposition energy was determined to be 45.0 J/g with an onset point at 249 °C and 28.7 J/g with a theoretical onset point at 309 °C (Smithers Viscient, 2018).
