Description of key information
The key study was a carp bioaccumulation test conducted following the Japanese guideline for Bioaccumulation Tests of Chemical Substances in Fish/Shellfish Bodies for Test Methods for New Chemical Substances (Pharmaceutical and Food Safety Bureau Notice No. 1121002 dated November 21, 2003, Manufacturing Industries Bureau Notice No. 2 dated November 13, 2003, Environmental Health Policy Planning Division Notice No. 031121002, Final Amendment: November 20, 2006) and GLP standards. The BCF for the test substance was determined to be 28 L/kg ww at the high concentration tested (0.0005 mg/L) and 92 L/kg ww at the low concentration tested (0.00005 L/kg).
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- BCF (aquatic species):
- 92 L/kg ww
