Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Type:
relative density
Density:
ca. 899 other: dimensionless
Temp.:
20 °C
Remarks on result:
other: equivalent to 0.899 g/cm3

The density of the test substance was determined to be 899 kg/m3 (0.899 g/cm3).

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the density of the test substance was determined to be 0.899 g/cm3.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the density of the test substance, TMAC S (88.3% active), using the pycnometer method according to a method silimar to OECD Guideline 109. The viscosity of the test substance was so high that a standard test could not be performed. The density was determined in 3-fold at 20°C, with a spread of less than 0.1%. Under the study conditions, the density of the test substance was determined to be 0.899 g/cm3 (Overkempe, 2018).

Description of key information

The density of the test substance was determined using pycnometer method, according to a method similar to OECD Guideline 109 (Overkempe, 2018).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
