First-aid measures

Contact with skin: immediately consult the doctor. Take off the contaminated clothing. Thoroughly wash the contaminated skin with water and soap.

Contact with eyes: immediately consult the ophthalmologist. In case of one eye contamination, protect the noncontaminated one, take off contact lenses. Rinse the contaminated eyes thoroughly with water for 10-15 minutes. Avoid strong stream of water – risk of cornea damage. After rinsing, apply the aseptic – sterile dressing.

Swallowing: Immediately obtain medical attention, show package or label. Do not induce vomiting. Wash mouth thoroughly with water and then give plenty of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Contact with respiratory tracts: take the affected person to fresh air, ensure the fresh air access and rest. Consult the doctor in case of the alarming ailment.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: dispersed water stream, foam, carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder. The extinguishing media adapt to materials stored in the vicinity.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: compact water stream.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Product dangerous for the environment. The harmful vapours and gases containing carbon oxides and hydrogen chloride may produce during combustion. Avoid inhalation of combustion products, they may cause the risk to health.

Advice for firefighters
The general protective measures typical in case of fire. Do not stay in a fire endangered area without the appropriate clothing. The recommended personal protective measures for salvage services: full protective suit, self-contained breathing apparatus. Handle the post-fire-fighting waters according to information from section 'accidental release measures'.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
For non-emergency personnel: limit the outsider’s access to the accident area until cleaning up will be finished. Use personal protective measures. Avoid eye and skin contamination. Ensure the appropriate ventilation. Avoid dust formulation. Product with air can form the explosive mixtures.

For emergency responders: make sure that removal of the accident and its effects is exclusively made by trained stuff. Use protective clothing resistant to chemicals.

Environmental precautions:
In case of the release of larger amounts of the substance, the steps should be taken in order to not allow to spread in the environment – prevent from entering sewage system, water, reservoirs, rivers, ground water and soil. Notify the appropriate salvage services. Warn others about danger. Use similar precautions also in case of post-fire-fighting waters presence (see section 'Fire-fighting measures').

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Collect released substance to tight and labelled containers. The collected product should be recovered or disposed according to regulations of the act on waste.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:
Follow the appropriate principles of safety and hygiene. Avoid eye and skin contamination. Take off the contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas. Before break and after work finish wash hands with water and soap. Packages with substance keep tightly closed. Avoid inhalation of substance vapours. The rooms should be equipped with efficient general and/or local ventilation.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in original, tightly closed packages, in dry and well ventilated warehouses, at the temperature not exceeding 40 oC. Keep far away from foodstuffs, fodders, food containers, keep in places inaccessible for unauthorized persons. Avoid direct exposure to the sunlight, the sources of heat and fire.

Exposure controls / personal protection

The procedures for monitoring the concentrations of the hazardous ingredients in the air and the procedures for the air purity check at the workplace should be applied – if they are available and justified at that workplace – according to the appropriate reference methods – standards in force in applicable country.

Obey the principles of safety and hygiene. Use personal protective measures listed below. Do not eat, drink and smoke during work. Before break and after work finish wash hands with water and soap thoroughly.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment
a) Eye or face protection: Use protective glasses (goggles).
b) Skin protection:
Hand protection Use chemical resistant protective gloves (neoprene, PVC or rubber of minimum 0.4 millimetre thick), tested according to standard EN-374.
Body protection
Use protective clothing and protective shoes suitable for kind of activities that are made. The contaminated clothing wash systematically.

c) Respiratory protection:
In case of workplace satisfactory ventilation, the personal protection of respiratory tract is not required. In other cases, use half-masks or masks equipped with dust absorbing filters of class P2.

Environmental exposure controls:
In order to limit the influence on the environment and human health, the recommendations included in this safety data sheet should be obeyed. In case of performing the operations with product and during packaging process of product, use the efficient ventilation systems equipped with filters preventing from the emission of dusts to atmospheric air. Do not contaminate the waters with the product or its package. Protect against entering the product or packages into sewage system, water reservoirs, rivers, ground water and soil. It is forbidden to recover or dispose of product, packages and product package waste out of installation or devices appropriate for this purpose and which meet the requirements determined in regulations of the act on waste.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
The product reacts with bases, oxidizing agents

Chemical stability
The product is stable under recommended usage and storage conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions
not known

Conditions to avoid:
Avoid direct sunlight or moisture access.

Incompatible materials:
Bases, oxidizing agents.

Hazardous decomposition products:
Do not occur when use or store appropriately. May occur in case of fire (see section 'Fire-fighting measures'.

Disposal considerations

The holder of product waste and packaging waste is required to handle the waste in accordance with the principles of waste management specified in the applicable regulations and the environmental protection requirements.
The produced waste and packaging waste must be stored, transported and recovered or disposed of in accordance with the provisions of applicable regulations.
Unused product, as well as the contaminated packaging must be submitted to an authorized hazardous waste disposal company.
Classify waste using the appropriate names and codes in accordance with the applicable waste catalogue.
Disposal of waste into the soil and earth, drains, rivers, water bodies is prohibited.
