Adequacy of study:
supporting study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail

Test animals

Species:
rat
Strain:
Wistar
Sex:
male/female

Administration / exposure

Route of administration:
oral: feed
Vehicle:
methylcellulose
Details on oral exposure:
No toxic symptons were observed. LD0 > 4000 mg/kg. Acute toxicity of LAS W-090 by oral administration in rat and mouse is almost negligible, since the animals tolerate 4000 mg/kg without any mortality being observed (which for physical reasons prevents determination of DL50). The results of the study in the dog support the apparent low toxicity of LAS-090 after oral administration.
Doses:
4000 mg/kg
