First-aid measures
If inhaled: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a comfortable position for breathing. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
If on skin: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse, Wash with plenty of soap and water, If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
If in eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing.
If swallowed: Get medical advice/attention
General advice: Consult a physician if experiencing symptoms after exposure to this product. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Move out of a dangerous area
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water may be ineffective.
Fire hazard: Not flammable.
Reactivity: None known.
Precautionary measures fire: May form acrid fumes, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide upon combustion
Protection during firefighting: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Wear chemical resistant oversuit. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTR AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Advice for non-emergency personnel
Emergency procedures: Stop leak if safe to do so. Keep away from Incompatible products.
Advice for emergency personnel: Evacuate personnel to a safe area. Evacuate unnecessary personnel. Keep upwind. Ventilate area. Wear suitable protective clothing.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Follow all regulations regarding releases into the environment.
Follow all regulations regarding releases into sanitary sewer systems.
Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
For containment : Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into sewers or streams. Prevent entry to sewers and public waters.
Methods for cleaning up: Keep in properly labeled containers. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Used in closed system or with proper ventilation. Use only equipment and materials which are compatible with the product. To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat. Preferably transfer by pump or gravity.
CONDITIONS FOR STORAGE, INCLUDING INCOMPATIBILITIES
Storage conditions: Store in original container. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep in properly labelled containers. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from Incompatible products. Optimal product quality is maintained if partial product containers are blanketed with dry nitrogen for extended storage.
Incompatible products: Natural rubber. Latex. Viton.
Packaging materials: Lined steel. Stainless steel. HD Polyethylene
Unsuitable material: Natural rubber, latex, viton

Exposure controls / personal protection
EXPOSURE CONTROLS
Appropriate engineering controls: Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Eye wash bottles or eye wash stations in compliance with applicable standards. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice
Personal protective equipment: Wear respiratory protection in the case of mist or aerosol formation with an approved filter.
Hand protection: Impervious gloves. Suitable material: Butyl rubber, Nitrile, SilverShield/4H. Unsuitable material: Leather, natural rubber, latex, viton.
Eye protection: Chemical resistant goggles must be worn.
Skin and body protection: Chemical resistant apron. Apron/boots of Butyl rubber, Nitrile, in case of mists or splashes.
Environmental exposure controls: Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations.
Stability and reactivity
REACTIVITY: none known
CHEMICAL STABILITY: stable under recommended storage conditions.
POSSIBILITY OF HAZARDOUS REACTIONS: No additional information available
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Excessive heat, light, contact with incompatible materials.
INCOMPATIBLE METERIALS: Strong oxidizers.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Hazardous decomposition products formed under fire conditions - Carbon oxides.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods: Obtain the consent of pollution control authorities before discharging to wastewater treatment plants.
Waste disposal recommendations: Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations. Do not allow the product to be released into the environment. Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration. Clean container with water. Dispose of unused product in accordance with local and national regulations.
