Description of key information

The flash point of the test item "sandalwood oil" has been tested according to the test method ASTM D93.

Two studies are available.

The flash point is 142.5 °C accoridng to the key study and 106 °C according to supporting study. As both values are above the GHS threshold for classification, the value of the key study is sued as the composition of this material is known in detail and the study was documented more properly.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
142.5 °C
