Reference
First determination:
The flash point of the test item was estimated at 154°C during the first determination. An automatic correction was applied to the obtained result because the ambient pressure was not 101.3 kPa but 99.5 kPa. With this correction, the flash point value was 154.5°C at 101.3 kPa.
Second determination:
The flash point was detected at 154.0°C and the same automatic correction was applied because the ambient pressure was still 99.4 kPa. With this correction, the flash point value was 154.5°C at 101.3 kPa.
Control of the performance of the method:
- A flash point of 193.5°C was registered for the reference substance glycerol (Batch N° 16H084105)
- A flash point of 75.5°C was registered for the Certified Reference Material (Batch N° 1151709)
