Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The boiling point of the test item is considered to be 79.5 °C (Lide, 2008).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
79.5 °C

Additional information

The derived boiling point is based on online database queries and the literature. In Reaxys (2015) ranges of 79.0 - 80.0 °C at an atmospheric pressure of 760 Torr (Kopka, 1980) and 78.5 - 81.0 °C (Mistryukov et al., 1964) are indicated. In Lide (2008) a single value of 79.5 °C is noted. The boiling point of the test item is considered to be 79.5 °C, based on the most current publication.
