Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Moisture (wt %):
1.02
Remarks on result:
other: The sample discoloured to black, localised glowing was observed, the sample then ignited with a small, orange flame which extinguished on removal of the ignition source.

Any other information on results incl. tables

From the preliminary screening (S/T) test the sample was seen to briefly ignite and self-extinguish and therefore no further testing is required.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
It was concluded that the test material is not highly flammable.
Executive summary:

A flammability test was conducted in accordance with EU Method A.10. From the preliminary screening (S/T) test the sample was seen to briefly ignite and self-extinguish and therefore no further testing was required. It was concluded that the test material is not highly flammable.
