Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The solid substance is non-toxic to aquatic species at two trophic levels (aquatic invertebrates and algae) required by annex VII of the REACH regulation (EC n.1907/2006)

- EC50 48h Daphnia magna > 100 mg/l loading rate: experimental data obtained testing the solid substance according to OECD TG 202.

- EC50 growth rate 72h Desmodesmus subspicatus  > 316 mg/l (loading rate): experimental data obtained testing the solid substance according to OECD TG 201.

Conclusion on classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC n.1272/2008) the classification H412 (long-term aquatic toxicity cat.3) is suggested as precautionary purpose for solid test item based on the potential bioaccumulation of substance and due to its lack of biodegradation even though no toxicity was observed in algae test and in short-term toxicity test on Daphnia (EC50 72 h growth rate Desmodesmus subspicatus > 316 mg/l loading rate and EC50 48 h Daphnia magna > 100 mg/l loading rate).
