Melting / freezing pt.:
> 395 - < 396 K

Two sets of measurements were carried out for RD14156 and results are shown the Table. The DSC data indicated one strong endothermal event at 396K. The capillary measurement showed a melting point at 394 K. The results are in agreement with each other in view of the estimated accuracy, and a melting point average is taken at 395K.

Melting point determinations in Kelvin for RD14156.

Conclusions:
Two sets of measurements were carried out for RD14156 and results are shown in Table 2. The DSC data presented in Appendix I indicates one strong endothermal event at 396K. The capillary measurement showed a melting point at 394 K. The results are in agreement with each other in view of the estimated accuracy, and a melting point average is taken at 395K.
Executive summary:

The material under test was analyzed per guidelines set forth in OECD 102. A first set of determinations was carried out by Differential Scanning Calorimetry, using a TA instruments DSC2010 Calorimeter. A second set of determinations was carried out using an Electrothermal IA 9000 capillary melting point apparatus. RD14156 has a melting point of 395K.
