biodegradation in soil: simulation testing
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable

Description of key information

According to the specific rules for adaptation from Column 1, this study is not required for substances that are readily biodegradable. In a ready biodegradability (CO2 evolution) test, the substance was determined to be readily biodegradable and the 10-day window criterion was met. The substance is therefore considered to be readily biodegradable and it is considered justified to omit this study.
