Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
The bromide atoms that are present in the molecular structure of the test item cannot be considered an oxidant since the bromine atom is already in the lowest oxidation state and cannot be further reduced. The molecular structures of impurities at  1% were not taken into account.
In conclusion, Barium bromide has no oxidizing properties.
