Description of key information

Biodegradation: Key study. Method according to OECD 301F / EU Method C.4 -D, GLP study. The 28 day biodegradation of the test item is 9.2% and therefore, it is not readily biodegradable.

Supporting study. Available data from Handbook of Environmental data on organic chemicals (peer reviewed handbook) reports 97% COD removal at 41 COD /g dry inoculum /h, in adapted a.s at 20ºC. No further information provided.

Bioaccumulation: Weight of evidence. Based on handbook data and an accepted calculation method, the test item is non-accumulative or low accumulative. The worst-case scenario for the test item BCF is 3.162 L kg ww. Based on the available information (BCF < 500), the substance has no potential for bioaccumulation.
