The LC50 value for the test substance to Rainbow trout in an O.E.C.D. test guideline 203 study was > 160 mg/L. The EC50 value for the 48 hr Daphnia O.E.C.D. test guideline 202 study and the green algae O.E.C.D. test guideline 201 study was > 100 mg/L. Therefore, the EC50 value of > 100 mg/L is most appropriate for the derivation of aquatic PNEC values.

The EC50 value for the test substance in an O.E.C.D. test guideline 209 activated sludge respiration inhibition study was > 1000 mg/L. Therefore, the test substance will have little or no adverse impact upon the operation of sewage treatment plants.

Classification and Labeling of the test substance for acute aquatic effects is not required.
