Additional information

The test substance, Bisphenol A, epichlorohydrin polymer, 2-methylimidazole condensate (EC No. 500 -181 -0/CAS No. 68002 -42 -6) was assessed for its chemical characteristics, including melting point, boiling point, vapor pressure, water solubility, partition coefficient, and flash point. The melting range of the test substance determined to be 79.7 to 90.8 °C. The boiling point could not be observed experimentally. It was concluded that exothermic decomposition began around 300°C and peaked at approximately 375°C. The vapor pressure was not experimentally detected in the laboratory. The partition coefficient of the test substance was determined to be 232 (Log Pow of ~ 2.4). The flash point was determined to be 217.4°C.
